Big White Ski Resort is the second-largest ski resort in British Columbia, after Whistler Blackcomb. It has 1120ha of skiable terrain, with a vertical drop of 2,133 feet (649 m). The resort has 118 runs, including 18 beginner, 54 intermediate, and 25 expert runs. Big White Ski Resort also has a number of terrain parks and glades. Big White Ski Resort is known for its excellent snow quality. The resort typically receives over 7 meters of snow per season, making it one of the snowiest ski resorts in North America. The snow at Big White is also known for being light and dry, which makes for great skiing and snowboarding.
