Geneva (GVA) international airport is positioned 220km to the west of Betten, a locality at the base of Aletsch Arena’s finest village, Bettmeralp, and it takes approximately 3½ hours by train during the winter season.  Zurich Airport (ZRH) is approximately a 3¼-hour train journey to Betten via Brig.
