The Grimentz-Zinal ski resort is situated in the region of the Valais canton in the southwestern part of Switzerland. It comprises two distinct villages, Grimentz and Zinal, which are spaced 8 kilometers apart within the Val d'Anniviers valley. For skiing and snowboarding, there are 115 km of slopes available and 21 lifts transport the guests. The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 1,570 and 2,900 m. It is the largest winter sports resort in the Val d'Anniviers and offers reliable snow coverage from mid-November through to late April. The slopes are divided almost evenly into difficulty levels which allows everyone to ski or snowboard according to their own personal preference in the ski resort of Grimentz-Zinal. For experts, there are several technically and physically demanding slopes. The winter sports resort of Grimentz-Zinal is located at the top end of the Val d'Anniviers, surrounded by the famous four-thousand metre peaks of the Bishorn,Weisshorn,Zinalrothorn, Obergabelhorn and Dent Blanche. Since the winter of 2013/14, the two formerly independent ski resorts of Grimentz and Zinal have been linked by one of the longest cable cars in Switzerland.

The nearest international airport is Geneva Airport (GVA), which is a relatively short 185-kilometer (2-hour) drive to Vissoie. Zurich Airport (ZRH) is also accessible, although it requires a longer journey of approximately 3.5 to 4 hours by road. From Geneva Airport, you can conveniently take direct trains to Sierre/Siders, with a travel time of less than 2.5 hours. To complete the journey to Grimentz or Zinal, you can then take buses via Vissoie, where a bus transfer is necessary.
