Meiringen-Hasliberg is located in the canton of Bern, Switzerland, east of Lake Brienz. The main valley town is Meiringen, and the ski resort is situated on an alpine terrace known as Hasliberg. The resort is easily accessible by train from Zurich or Lucerne. Travelers can take a train to Meiringen station and then use local buses or a ‘taxi’ to reach the cable car base and the journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the time of day. Alternatively, there’s a train to Brünig Hasliberg station, followed by a bus to the villages higher up the mountain.
