La Hoya ski resort is located close to the town of Esquel in the province of Chubut, about a 3-hour drive south of San Carlos de Bariloche.

The ski season at La Hoya typically runs from mid-June to early October, depending on snow conditions. This period provides the best snow coverage for skiing and snowboarding.

The snow at La Hoya Ski Resort is real and like many other ski resorts, relies on natural snowfall during the winter months to provide excellent skiing and snowboarding conditions.

La Hoya Ski Resort offers childcare services. The La Hoya Children’s Space is located at the Base, just a short distance away from the Ticket Office and the Las Lengas Chairlift. Here, a range of services for children is provided, along with ski and snowboard lessons catering to all skill levels. This includes beginners looking to learn skiing as well as more experienced athletes aiming to refine their techniques. Lessons are available in different formats such as Exclusive, Semi-exclusive, and Group sessions. Furthermore, the Children’s Ski School presents three distinct levels for Juniors and Children, including the Snow Garden and Nursery, where a cozy area is thoughtfully designed for the youngest learners.
