Cypress Mountain is located in the North Shore Mountains, just 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The mountain is easily accessible by car, public transport, and shuttle services, making it a convenient winter destination for locals and visitors alike.
Getting here:
By Car
From Downtown Vancouver take the Lions Gate Bridge and follow the signs to Highway One (via Taylor Way). Continue west, take Exit #8 onto Cypress Bowl Rd. Follow this 3-lane, paved highway for 13 km (8 miles) for Cross Country, Snowshoeing, and Snowtubing or 15 km (9.3 miles) for Downhill Skiing and Snowboarding. Please note from Oct 1 to Apr 30 Winter tires are required when travelling on Cypress Bowl Rd.
By Public Transport & Shuttle
Take the Skytrain or Bus to Waterfront Station, connecting via Seabus to the private Cypress Mountain Shuttle Bus operated by Cypress Coach Lines. Cypress coach lines offer pick-up and drop-off to various locations within Vancouver during winter and summer operations. A free parking lot shuttle is offered during our peak winter times.
