The snow is real in Kimberley. The resort is located in the Purcell Mountains in British Columbia, which typically receive ample snowfall during the winter season.

Additionally, the resort does have a snowmaking system, which is used to supplement natural snowfall on specific runs and areas, especially during early-season conditions or periods with lower snowfall.
