The Silver Star Mountain Resort is located in the Okanagan Valley, 22 km (14 miles) northeast of Vernon in BC. Silverstar is 464km northwest of Vancouver and 574km west of Calgary. Kelowna International Airport is the main gateway airport for the Silver Star Resort, only 65km (40 miles) away. From the airport, there are various shuttle services available.

The snow in Silver Star Mountain Resort is real and doesn’t need artificial snow-making equipment. It benefits from consistent and substantial snowfall during the winter months, creating excellent powder conditions for skiing and snowboarding.

Silver Star does not cater to childcare on-site. However, at the heart of the central village (Adventure Centre) has Star Kids Daycare which provides childcare services catering to children aged 18 months to 5 years.
