Tazawako Ski Resort is located in the Akita Prefecture of northern Japan. It is situated on the shores of Lake Tazawa, one of Japan’s deepest lakes.

The Tazawako station is on the Akita Shinkansen line, it only takes 2:45-3 hours from Tokyo.

The ski/ snowboarding season at Tazawako Ski Resort typically runs from late December to early April, depending on snow conditions.
