Tomamu is located in the central part of Hokkaido and is approximately 1.5hrs drive from Chitose Airport.

The ski/ snowboarding season typically runs from December to April. The specific timing depends on weather conditions and snowfall, so it’s always a good idea to check the snow conditions before planning your trip.

The nearest major airport to Tomamu is New Chitose Airport in Sapporo. From there, you can take a direct train or arrange for a shuttle bus transfer to Tomamu Resort. Click here for more information

Besides skiing and snowboarding, Tomamu offers a range of activities and attractions. These include snowshoeing, snowmobiling, snow rafting, ice fishing, indoor wave pools, hot springs, an ice village, and a stunning observation deck called “Unkai Terrace” known for its sea of clouds.

Tomamu Ski Resort has a childcare service called GAO Nursery & Snow Play. The nursery provides childcare services for children as young as 5 months to 8 years old. The reservation for the Nursery will be available for a minimum of 2 hours. You may use the service while you have a lesson or rental. Professional staff will ensure your children’s safety.
