The ski/ snowboarding season typically runs from June to early October, depending on snow conditions.

The snow at Mt Hutt is real and it receives an average of 4 meters of snowfall per season eating genuine snow conditions for skiing, snowboarding, and other winter activities.

They also offer transportation between Christchurch, Christchurch International Airport, and Methven Village. Additionally, 4wd Transport offers local shuttle bus services between Methven and the Mt Hutt ski area.
