Corvatsch is situated in close proximity to the charming villages of Surlej, Silvaplana, and Sils im Engadin, nestled deep within the scenic Swiss canton of Grisons (Graubünden). The ski resort is conveniently located just 12 kilometers southwest of the renowned resort town of St. Moritz.

The town of St. Moritz, in turn, is positioned 86 kilometers to the south of the capital of Grisons, Chur, and is approximately 203 kilometers away from Zurich when traveled by road.

For travelers seeking international access, the most convenient gateway airports are Zurich (ZRH) and Milan Malpensa (MXP). Both airports are well-connected to St. Moritz via train services. The ski/ snowboarding season typically runs from late November to early April, but the best time to visit depends on your preference for snow conditions and crowd levels.

Snow is real in Corvatsch, and the resort utilizes snowmaking equipment with the use of 200 snow cannons and 30% of the slopes to enhance snow coverage on its slopes. Snowmaking technology allows ski resorts to supplement natural snowfall, ensuring consistent snow conditions throughout the ski season and providing better skiing experiences for visitors. This is especially important for maintaining reliable snow cover, particularly in areas where snowfall can be variable.

Visitors can enjoy stunning vistas of the Bernina Range, including prominent peaks like Piz Bernina and Piz Roseg. On the other side, there are captivating views of Engadin’s scenic lakes and numerous Alpine summits.
