It comprises two distinct villages, Grimentz and Zinal, which are spaced 8 kilometers apart within the Val d’Anniviers valley. The nearest international airport is Geneva Airport (GVA), which is a relatively short 185-kilometer (2-hour) drive to Vissoie. Zurich Airport (ZRH) is also accessible, although it requires a longer journey of approximately 3.5 to 4 hours by road. From Geneva Airport, you can conveniently take direct trains to Sierre/Siders, with a travel time of less than 2.5 hours. To complete the journey to Grimentz or Zinal, you can then take buses via Vissoie, where a bus transfer is necessary.
