Meiringen-Hasliberg is located in the canton of Bern, Switzerland, east of Lake Brienz. The main valley town is Meiringen, and the ski resort is situated on an alpine terrace known as Hasliberg. The resort is easily accessible by train from Zurich or Lucerne. Travelers can take a train to Meiringen station and then use local buses or a ‘taxi’ to reach the cable car base and the journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the time of day. Alternatively, there’s a train to Brünig Hasliberg station, followed by a bus to the villages higher up the mountain.

The ski season generally runs from late December to early April. The best time for skiing would be during the winter months when the resort receives consistent snowfall.

Meiringen-Hasliberg experiences natural snowfall, complemented by artificial snow-making with the aid of 75 snow cannons. Approximately 30% of the slopes are equipped with snow-making capabilities.

Night skiing options are available in the evenings at Meiringen-Hasliberg, providing an additional opportunity for skiing enthusiasts.
