Telluride Ski Resort is located in the southwestern part of Colorado, USA. It can be found in the town of Telluride, nestled in the San Juan Mountains.

There are two major parts to Telluride. The historic town of Telluride sits at an elevation of 2,668 meters whilst the ski resort’s Mountain Village is up at an elevation of 2,921 meters. The two areas are interconnected by a gondola or they are about 3 miles apart by road.

The ski season at Telluride typically runs from late November to early April. However, the exact dates may vary depending on snowfall and weather conditions each year.

The snow in Telluride is real. While the town benefits from substantial natural snowfall due to its location in the San Juan Mountains, snowmaking allows the resort to open more terrain earlier in the season and maintain quality snow conditions even during periods when natural snowfall might be limited. This ensures that visitors can enjoy a reliable and extended ski season and have the opportunity to experience excellent skiing and snowboarding conditions throughout their stay at Telluride Ski Resort.
